Why India seem lost in South Africa

Broadcasters coined enticing taglines such as the 'Final Frontier' to boost India's quest for their inaugural Test series victory in South Africa. However, the reality diverged significantly as India experienced a feeble surrender in the Centurion Test. Yet, South Africa is not the sole destination where India has encountered challenges while playing abroad. For the record, of the last 20 Tests that India have played in New Zealand, they have won only one, in Hamilton in 2009.
