India slip to fifth spot in WTC table after embarrassing defeat in Centurion

South Africa inflicted a crushing three-day defeat on India in the first Test, winning by an innings and 32 runs on Thursday. The defeat cost India the top spot in the WTC table as Rohit Sharma and co. slipped to the fifth position in the standings. On the other hand, the win put the Proteas on the top spot on the table.
