The South African batsmen performed better against the Indian bowling attack, while the Indian batsmen showed their inability to extend the match to the fourth day. With the pitch offering something for the pacemen, Indian bowlers were expected to fare better. Eyeing their first-ever Test series win in the Rainbow Nation, now they can at best draw this two-Test series.
