Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh has denied claims made by former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq about his interest in Islamic teachings. Singh, who won the 2011 World Cup, defended his Indian and Sikh identity, stating that he has shown a strong connection to his Indian and Sikh identity. Singh criticized Inzamam's claims on social media, claiming that he had shown interest in following the teachings of Pakistan's Islamic preacher, Maulana Tariq Jameel.
