Sri Lanka's Hasaranga likely to miss World Cup due to injury

Sri Lankan all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga is unlikely to play in the 50-overs World Cup in India due to a hamstring injury, according to reports. Hasaranga sustained the injury during the Lanka Premier League and missed the Asia Cup. Sri Lanka Cricket is consulting foreign doctors to determine whether he needs surgery, which could result in a three-month recovery period.
